Greg is a Denver based fine artists who works primarily in mixed media and oil paintings.  By utilizing a mixed media and collage techniques of layering and removing various materials, Greg creates texture in his work that is both visual and intellectual.  Just as a modern urban aesthetic is created over time, these techniques are used to build a scene that creates the sense of space and time. Using a combination of classical and modern oil painting techniques, Greg adds figurative and other naturalistic elements as a means to create a contemporary narrative through the inclusion of non-cultural specific classical themes and ideas. These themes from antiquity are translated in the form of street art contained within a modern urban setting in which main figures exist.
